Learning, teaching, and investing for the glory of God is what motivates me and ignites my passion for ministry!

I was raised here in Mount Airy, but I spent most of my adult life with my husband in Fort Hood, TX, and Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Lord called my family (husband and me, along with two kiddos) back to Mount Airy in 2020. We were drawn to MABC by the Bible-based, evangelistic teaching that's synonymous with Scripture in Acts 2.

I feel blessed that the Lord has placed me working with the hearts of children! I was a social worker in child welfare, I am a children's dance teacher locally, and I am humbled to serve with the incredible children's ministries at MABC! One of my favorite quotes is by C.S Lewis — “Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.”

My family and I love being active outside on our tiny homestead or traveling to the mountains for long hikes! Anything we can do together as a family, we are all in for the adventure!
