I love seeing the church actually be the church — worshiping together from across different ethnicities and cultures, encouraging one another in our spiritual walks, being present for each other, and reaching across socio-economic boundaries and breaking stereotypes to bring the gospel to places where we would not normally find ourselves.

I have a Master's degree in Church Music, 17 years of taking piano lessons. Somehow over the years, I have found myself at one time or another connecting with almost every area of church ministry, from Awana, youth group and Christian School education to outreach, technology, deacon board, and of course music.

While I was born and raised in Massachusetts, I've been a resident of Maryland now since 2004 and in Baltimore City since 2013. In addition to church and music stuff, I also love talking about design and coffee.
